Biography
Michael Kakhiani (Emkay) was Born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia on October 7-th, 1986. Started studying music at the age of 6. Graduated several music schools (classical piano and vocals), Got the Bachelor’s Degree from Tbilisi State Conservatory. Won several International piano competitions. As a Pop/Rock Musician, Emkay has Released two independent album “Listen to the voice” (2005) and Passion (2009). Received airplay on the local radio and TV. Emkay has 6 Music videos mainly made using 3D Graphics. He also writes music for Film/TV as well as Web Sites and etc. Studied Songwriting at the world famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. Recently, he had personal master classes with Grammy winning singer/songwriter John Mayer. Currently, he has a busy schedule working on many different projects as a performing songwriter and also as a film composer.
