jefftimesten 4 weeks ago Thanks Tom! This sounds good, but I have two comments. 1) The music is too techno-y. Bring it down a few notches. I'm thinking something along the lines of the music from the first episode. Listen here: http://4u.jeffcrouse.info/mt/ 2) Rather than having all of the samples play back-to-back, I'd like to mix them up a bit. For instance, in the intro, don't be afraid to repeat the "My name is ____ and I am one of the hosts of today's show." part, and then cut back and forth between a couple of the intros. Also, I forgot to mention this, but I had the "hosts" read out the questions so that they could ask as punctuation for the responses by the workers. So, for instance, here is a possible layout - Host #1 introduces himself - Host #2 introduces himself - Hosts 1&2 describe the show - One of the hosts reads question 1 - We hear a few answers to question 1 - One of the hosts reads question 2 - We hear a few answers to question 2 - etc. Again - thanks so much for the submission. This is very exciting for me.

jefftimesten 3 weeks ago SergeiStern - This is *very* close to what I am looking for. It's great! I think we need to lose the echo. Did you get a chance to listen to all of the samples? Or is this perhaps a segment that would be in the middle? Listening to some of the other submissions, I see that the intros are kind of abrasive and jarring. But would you use them at all?

SergeiStern 3 weeks ago Hey Jeff, I've uploaded the new version. Yeah, its a sample from the middle of the whole project. I'll start it with intros, I like them. I want to use all the samples including intros, just cutting in the right places and it won't sound abrasive and jarring anymore. It will fit with my music in a very organic way, cause I've composed it especially for these texts. Tell me that I'm the winner, and we will complete the project - I fell in love with this project and want to complete it ! :)

SergeiStern 3 weeks ago I'm 28 years old, finished piano school in Russia and then got Bmus in composition and conducting from Israeli Academy of music, Tel aviv's university. Playing guitar, singing, arranging, composing. Now I'm mostly fond of creating music for video games, commercials and films and also working as session guitarist. Hobbies.. :) I love sports, especially basketball.. I love literature, cinema and now planning to create and sell graphic stuff as well. I like drawing.

raging81 3 weeks ago Thanks Jeff, I could easily calm the beginning down. If I got to do the project I'd re-edit it all after a bit of consultation so I know exactly what you want. Did you feel it was the cutting together of the voices or the music (or both) that was over the top? Here's my info for the website. I'm 28 years old, currently completing my final year of BA(hons) in Creative Music and Sound Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University. I spent the last seven or eight years working as a care worker for people with brain injuries while doing musical projects on the side. I finally realised that I had to pursue my passion for music full time and joined up at Leeds Met. I'm self taught on guitar and piano and I'm always trying to learn new instruments (I'm currently annoying the neighbours with a screechy second-hand violin!). I compose and arrange in a wide variety of genres and I do a bit of live sound here and there. I love the internet and all the new challenges and opportunities it presents.

Radius_Vector 3 weeks ago Hi Jeff, Thanks for the feedback. Music is subjective, I found this to be a bit introspective, as that was the vibe I got from the interviews. However, you decide the final product, and we can easily change the music to cater to your vision of the podcast. Looking forward to the results! Some stuff about me - I'm a 21 year old guitarist/composer. Actually a bio-engineer by qualification, but a music enthusiast by the night, and a business developer for an online gaming firm by the day. I released my first album 'Transcend', which can be downloaded for free here - http://www.gimmesound.com/Sridhar - it contains ambient, and folk influences from India, held together by a string of 'minimalistic' guitar playing, I'm not one for flashy playing, but I am very big on experimentation and good production. flakolefluk 3 weeks ago Hi, Jeff i'm on vacation, i wished i could have used some of my music. use my computer, and have more time to work in this project. Hope you like it, any advice is ok. (tomorrow i'll be home and i'm going to be in a better enviroment for mixing and editing). good luck to everyone about me i'm a sound engineer from chile, and i've worked in some radio stations (news and music). I play the guitar and drums (and i try to play every instrument i can). I also make my own guitar effects and audio equipment. I love DIY stuff. -flf
