So here's my funk version that for some reason reminds mo of Jackson 5 - "ABC"...

Well, my music seems to have it's own life and will and gets out how it wants not how I want. I wanted to be a more r&b, sort of Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu...
I'll try maybe later a more pop version.

Thanks for the quite fast feedback, I'm glad that you like it.
I will try my hands again on it later, maybe I will manage to make something more on the modern pop line.
Anyway, even this version I will try to mix better. I can also provide all the tracks separately, dry, so you can mix it to your taste.

Ok, second try here already. Made a reharmonization and made the intro double.
The mix is not a very good one but if you like the idea I can record again the guitar better and spend more time on mixing. For now I threw all the tracks together just to show you another concept.
If first goes shuffle, this one goes straight, more like soft "hair rock" of the 90's.

I will try a more electro/ pop one. Somehow I'm coming to present, each version have a 20 years gap. First a 70s funk, then a 90s rock, next will be a 2010s something LOL.

It's funny how things turn out differently than you expect them to. Mine ended up morphing more into a Ben Folds style arrangement. I will post it later tonight.

Nice arrangement too, I like those glitchy percussions. Somehow the general feel to me is like those "Café del Mar" CD's. What I personally not like is the bongos around 0:55, somehow not fitting to the rest (to my taste) but I might be wrong. The stringed instrument sounds very nice, what's that ?
