Song 2 - Got great submissions so I am doing more!

Hey, Mr. Blueberry!
I need to transform a silly, non-sensical kiddie song into a pop music hit! Make me a professional track that sounds like Train, or Taylor Swift, or Boys LIke Girls or Lady Gaga.

The asset that you will have to guide you is a rough vocal with a click track.

I will add a vocal later.
Note: A lead vocal is not required for this project.

Here is a version with less reverb on the drum parts, especially the snare. This has been a fun project to work on!

Had fun playing around with ideas for this. This is what I came up with in the end. Let me know your thoughts.

Here's my submission for Mr. Blueberry. Pretty much followed the form of your scratch. 4- bar intro, and 6 out. Hope you like it! Thanks

Sounds great. Really solid, however sounds more like a Jimmy Buffet track than a Taylor Swift track... Would love it to be more "modern" More pop, less country.
Thanks so much for the submission!

I can try my hands on it but with my crazy program I don't know when I'll have time to do it...

Thanks for the feedback. I'll give it another shot and send it over. it's a great melody, and I heard this sort of treatment for it. I think I know where you are going with it now

Thank you to Sergei Stern for the great submission --this really has a lot of the characteristics I am looking for and is worthy of consideration exactly as it is right now.

If anything, it could use a little more energy and fun as opposed to being/sounding sweet. Please keep in mind that my comment is in the context of imagining the vocals with the track.

Really, really nice work! Very cool.

The original track I submitted is all I've got on this one. Tried again today but still sticking with my original. Thanks.

jonnyb, thanks for the submission. really fun approach indeed. sounds a bit thick or too much low end with power chords and tom fills though. Really interesting and unique chord selections on the "b" section. Thank you!

GaryWolkProd, thanks for your message and candor about giving it another try and sticking with your original.

jonnyb, thanks for the second submission. sounding good. there is a little too much reverb, echo on a percussive hit on the right side, but other than that really nice.

miss chez taylor! wow your track is crazy good and fun --I can't really find this song in it anywhere though,,,could be my lack of imagination... lol!!!
