How it works
If you are a producer, read about how it works for producers.
Minimum Noise is a music marketplace that allows you to outsource music production.
By creating a project on Minimum Noise, you have access to talented producers around the world - on a budget set by you.
The process consists of three steps.
1. Create a project
You create a project by clicking on the "Create Project" tab. Creating a project costs
$30.
You need to supply the following:
- A description of what kind of music you are looking for in terms of style, tempo etc.
- Your budget, known as the prize. Usually in the range of $100 to $1,000
- Some reference files that can be any kind of files that help explain your projcet to producers
2. Iterate with the producers
Once your project is active, you discuss with the producers and give them feedback to steer the project in the right direction.
The project page allows you to listen to the contributions and comment on them.
We recommend that you offer constructive feedback in order to help the producers understand what you are looking for and to make it a learning process for both parties.
3. Close the deal
When there is a contribution that you like and that matches your wishes, you select it as the winner. This will close the project
and highlight the winning audio clip.
You then transfer the prize money to the winner, usually via a service like PayPal, and the winner will transfer the raw audio files to you.
